Where was the Byzantine Empire located?

My Spoon is too Big!
The Byzantine Empire stretched through Asia, Europe and Africa. After the fourth crusade however, the Byzantine Empire was reduced to only the innermost regions of Turkey and Greece.

The Byzantine Empire

In A.D 330 the city of Byzantium, or as it was more commonly known, Constantinople was rebuilt by the Roman Empire as a strictly Christian city. The ruler of Rome at the time, Constantine the Great (r. 306-337) ruled out any pagan sacrifice within the city and its close neighbours. Byzantium's deeply Christian beliefs spread to the far reaches of Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
